What to Expect:
Welcome to the Mari K Photography crew. I'm SO happy you're here and cannot wait to start this project with you. Time really is fleeting, and photography has given us the ability to press pause on these passing days. So, you started the booking process, now what? Here's some things you can expect.
Response Time
I will respond to your inquiry ASAP! I love hearing about people's visions for their session! My response time will range from 1-4 days, but I will NOT leave you hanging! Emails are usually logged off on the weekends/holidays/vacation so that I can spend time with my husband & golden retriever (Archie).
My response will typically include some questions to get some more details about your session- location, vision, dates, etc. This way I can give you an accurate quote based on your needs!
Planning
I like to think of the client - photographer relationship as a team. We come together with ideas, thoughts, and opinions to make your dreams come to life! Some clients come to me with a desire for a specific location, others have no idea and need some guidance. I will gladly be involved in every aspect of planning your session.

So what will your session with me look like?
After we spend time choosing the best location, getting your wardrobe together, and preparing you, it's time for your session!
A session with me is very laid back. The more candid the better, but I will never leave you hanging awkwardly not knowing where to stand or what to do. If I'm not giving direction, it's because what you're doing is PERFECT. The most important part of making the most of your session is BEING with your people. The most magical pictures come when parents play, explore, tickle, snuggle, hug, kiss, and chase their littles. The more you relax, the more your children will relax. This will allow me to get the nose wrinkles, the cheesy grins, and the little personalities that you truly want to remember!
Most of all-
I want your session to be FUN & memorable for your loved ones. While we all have the common goal of getting good photos- it doesn't HAVE to be a stressful/ not fun evening for you & your family. It can absolutely be a fun family date night. Trust me. Bring yourself and your loved ones and leave the rest to me.
